May Your Irritations Become Pearls

Most everyday at lunchtime, I take a 20 minute walk and today there was a small pebble in my shoe which reminded me of how natural pearls are made.

When a "microscopic intruder or parasite enters a bivalve mollusk, and settles inside the shell. The mollusk, being irritated by the intruder, secretes the calcium carbonate and conchiolin to cover the irritant. This secretion process is repeated many times, thus producing a pearl." From Wikipedia

Then I thought how God will use little irritations to create beautiful pearls in our lives.
