Today is the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel
EVEN KINGS HAVE BAD DAYS!
King David wrote Psalm 34 in reference to the time he pretended to be insane in front of Abimelech. David was a man after God's own heart, but being human, he like us, struggled at times. Today while reading this psalm, verses 8-10 blessed me: "Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in him! Let the LORD's people show him reverence, for those who honor him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will never lack any good thing." Those who trust in the Lord will never lack any good thing - what a wonderful promise! Over the years, Jesus has provided for me in big and little ways, so I am very thankful. I am also thankful for Israel. Many years ago as a new believer in Jesus Christ, the Lord put a big love in my heart for Israel and for the Jews. My first trip overseas from the USA was to Israel. Then I visited again a few years later. When the Lord told me to go to Germany, at the same time, He told me to take teams of Germans to Israel to bless the people, ask forgiveness, and pray for them. Others have done this and are still doing it, but the opportunity has not come for me to do this yet - one day I believe it will!

DEUTSCH

Hey Sue! Yes, it was great seeing you in beautiful Holland. And no, I don't do the German translations - hahahaaa - but a friend of mine offered to do it because she was already translating the blog posts for another German to read. Cool huh?

How was your adventure translating for Jason and the band? They are really great people, aren't they!
